Demeter looked at him, the grin now gone and replaced with a dazed look of worry and joy. She grinned again and nodded. "Deal." she said as she leaned over the table again and shot once more, hitting her mark, making another ball hop into the side pocket.

Jeffrey smiled, mainly to himself. He had to beat her, he needed that kiss. She didn't know that he had already decided to stay there. Maybe not forever but for a good while

It was down to the 8 ball... and it was his shot. She calmly stood behind him, watching his moves carefully. She was going to wait for him to take the shot and then run her feathers down his back to mess him up.

He moved around the table finding the perfect angle, lining up for it he took the shot. He wouldn't miss this shot, it was impossible for him to, the shots he had missed had been on purpose. His aim was perfect.

Demeter sighed a little and laid her stick on the table, looking up at him. She ruffled her feathers in a near defencive way as she waited for him to say something. At least it was a good game, to her anyway. But it ended quickly, he had won.
